THEIR CAREER
We are just about to release our first full-length CD "The Strong
Man" on our own label, Devour Records.
THEIR SUPPORTERS
We have been very pleased with the response from several female
artists to our idea of Planet Girl/Girl's Night Out. We are thrilled
that Brenda Kahn has adopted the idea and carried it further than
we could ever have imagined. Her interest, and the interest of artists
such as Jill Sobule, Michelle Lewis, Heather Eatman, Jolie Christine
Rickman, etc. has pulled us out to other cities to play, which has
opened a lot of doors for us.
THEIR LABEL
Yes, we have our own label. We are just in the beginning stages,
and it really is a learning process. We take tips from everyone
-- local Pittsburgh musicians, booking agents, friends who have
done this before, etc. Heck, if you have any tidbits of information
to impart on how to do this right-- feel free! We really are just
trying to make some good music, get it into people's hands and hearts,
and have some fun in the process.
ABOUT MP3
They are fantastic -- we have our own MP3's, and we also listen
to and download many of them from the web -- Matt, our bass player,
downloads songs daily! As far as the controversy goes, we are just
happy to have an avenue to get our music out there for people to
hear. I like having the opportunity to listen to music made by some
band in North Dakota, and I can only assume that my pals in North
Dakota are just as happy to be able to listen to some girls from
Pittsburgh.

GIRL STUFF
Well, the only makeup fanatic in the band would be me (singer, Melissa).
I love stuff from Benefit and Philosophy. When in New York, I try
to mosey on down to Kiehl's and MAC -- usually not that easy when
we have shows to play!
We are all thrift store shoppers. Chris adores the everyday fashion
at Urban. And, my friends can vouch for the fact that I am an ebay
fiend! Current faves include anything in black leather, leopard
print, or pink!
