Showcase and Networking/Workshop Dates
WOMANROCK
hosts showcases every other month at the legendary Living
Room in NYC's Lower East Side. If you are a WOMANROCK member
and want to be a part of an upcoming showcase, please contact
Bob McKee at Local Music Now.
The
format: An opening hour with 3 musicians playing 3-song
sets - a great way to get your foot in the door at this superb
venue. Choose three of your best tunes and bring some solid
numbers, and you just might be able to return as one of the 2
headliner sets by more established artists that will follow the
openers.
Showcase
opportunities are open only to WOMANROCK members. For more

Showcase
dates at the Living Room: January 19, March 16, May 18, July 20.
For
the months when there are no WOMANROCK showcases, we'll be running
informal networking/workshop evenings in the upstairs lounge.
The evenings generally consist of an educational presentation
or workshop, some networking time, and DJ music.
Nettworking evenings are FREE to WOMANROCK members,
and just $5 for guests.
Networking
evening dates at the Living Room: February 16, April 20, June
15.
