Letter from the Editor,
Tina Whelski

Hey Everyone,

"Do you trust me?" sings Tracee Mae Miller of Blanche in "Do You Trust Me" from their new CD, If We Can't Trust The Doctors. "I'm not sure," is husband and musical partner Dan's cautious response.  The band captures that waltz we all do around putting our faith into someone or something throughout the album using an eclectic blend of old country and rock grown organically as a remedy for their aching hearts during some strange times.  I'm sure you'll find it just as peculiar and uplifting.

In our other cover story, The Donnas talk about growing up, and in particular, how discovering the ugly side of the music industry influenced their writing on their latest CD, Gold Medal.

We've also got singer/songwriter Jennifer Marks talking about her wonderful mentor experience with Cyndi Lauper on tour and I love Lourds' do or die attitude in the story, "No Plan "B."

Make sure you come out to our show on March 15 at The Living Room in NYC, because if we don't support one another, who will?

Until next time,

Tina
